I rly like how they extrapolated a Supergirl costume from the Superman Returns costume design. :D (I wish the cape was longer tho XD)
If it wasn't $200 (or newhere near $200) I would ttlly get it! :D
I wonder if Supergirl will ever make an appearance in the new Superman movies? :o Or better yet, if she'd get her own movie again? :D

I think the cape should be longer or shorter. By making the bottom edge of the cape line up with the hem of the skirt, the designer dulled the impact of both items, and gave the costume the unflattering silhouette of a poncho, or a gumdrop. Otherwise, yeah, it's a really cute costume! (I love pleated skirts on super-heroine outfits.)
I agree with Blockade Boy. I hadn't thought of that but now that he mentions it, he's right about the silhouette. But that aside, this costume is very cute.
I generally like a short cape with Supergirl, but in this case longer would be better.
Actually, I like it better than the Superman Returns costume that inspired it. The Super-logo buckle accessory seems to work better in this context. In the male suit it just seemed like too much, especially since a larger version was just above it. If the colors were more garish here it'd be overkill again but the muted Returns color scheme and the "cute" aspect work together in better visual harmony.
$200? I'm thinking you still need it, Ami, regardless of price!
Also... I don't know who that "Ricky" person is but those costumes are ALL awesome. They really encapsulate in clothing form all that is good about the Super-folk. I wish they had some of the Bat-family too.
